Tournament Rules
Format
-
The tournament is a four-person team scramble.
-
Two golf carts per team will be provided.
Field / Tee Order
-
Each tee will have two four-player teams, designated Team A and Team B.
-
Team A tees off first. Team B must wait until Team A has cleared the fairway and is a safe distance from any tee shot.
-
Slow play will be monitored throughout the course.
Play Rules
-
Tee Selection:
-
Men tee off from the white tees.
-
Women tee off from the red tees (women may choose to play from the white tees).
-
The tees chosen on the first hole must be used for all 18 holes.
-
-
Scramble Format:
-
All four players tee off. The team selects the best shot and marks that spot.
-
All players then play from the selected spot. This process continues until the ball is holed.
-
-
Ball Placement:
-
For selected shots, each player may place their ball within one club length, no closer to the hole (lateral movement only).
-
If the selected ball is in the rough, each player must play from the rough.
-
-
Scoring:
-
The team score for each hole is the number of strokes taken to hole the ball using the scramble format.
-
-
Mandatory Tee Shots:
-
Each player must contribute one tee shot during the round.
-
-
Putting Rules:
-
Mark the selected ball on the green. Each player attempts the putt from the same spot.
-
The first ball to go in counts for the team.
-
If no player makes the putt, mark the best remaining spot; all players putt from there.
-
No gimme putts.
-
-
Hazards and Out-of-Bounds:
-
Sand bunker: Players may rake after each shot.
-
Water: Drop under USGA rules; add one penalty stroke per player.
-
Out-of-bounds: Players must replay from the original spot; add stroke-and-distance penalty (2 strokes).
-
Team Scores / Competition
-
Live Scoring:
-
Team scores for each hole must be entered immediately into the Live Scoring Mobile App.
-
-
Maximum Score:
-
Double bogey is the maximum team score per hole. Teams reaching double bogey should pick up and proceed.
-
-
Winning Team:
-
The lowest 18-hole team score wins the tournament.
-
-
Tiebreaker:
-
In the event of a tie, scores are compared hole-by-hole in reverse order, starting from the 18th hole until a winner is determined.
-
